Privacy Policy

The Cranked Report is a statistical NFL projection site. It collects the minimum needed to sign you in and, if you choose to subscribe, to bill you. It does not sell your data, does not share it with advertisers, and does not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts.

Signing in uses Google, and the site requests only Google's basic sign-in scopes: openid, email, and profile. From those, the following are stored in our database:

• Your email address — used as your account identifier and to match you to a subscription.
• Your name and profile image URL, as supplied by Google.
• The Google account identifier, plus the sign-in tokens needed to keep you logged in.

We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service. Google user data obtained here is used solely to authenticate you and to operate your account, is never sold, and is never transferred to anyone except the infrastructure providers listed below who process it on our behalf.

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never reach this site and are never stored by us. What we store is a Stripe customer identifier, a subscription identifier, the subscription status, and the date your access is paid through — the minimum needed to know whether to show you the projections.

Stripe's own handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Your custom league scoring settings are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not transmitted to the server and we cannot read them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

• Vercel — hosting and the database that stores accounts and subscription status.
• Google — sign-in.
• Stripe — payments and billing.

Each processes data only to provide its service to us. There are no advertising networks, analytics vendors, or data brokers involved.

The site sets a session cookie so you stay signed in between pages. That is the only cookie it sets, and it exists for authentication — not for tracking or advertising.

Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists, and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Delete your account and the rest goes with it.

Email thecrankedreport@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. Your account record, subscription record, and stored Google profile data will be removed, and any active subscription cancelled. You can also revoke this site's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings, which stops sign-in immediately.

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and accounts are not knowingly created for minors. See the Terms & Conditions for the age requirement.

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the site after that means the updated policy applies.
